The campaign was officially launched on Thursday, February 14th and will extend for a period of 10 weeks with a goal of $20,000. This will be the third consecutive year that SIA participates in the “Quest for a Million Pennies.” In 2007, SIA raised more than $2,600—breaking its previous records and making SIA one of the top three contributing organizations. This year SIA will try to set a new record with the guidance of Community Affairs Director, Joanne Ramirez. “We are extremely excited to once again embark on a mission to help St. Jude’s. It is motivating to see that sisters from across the country are coming up with very creative ways to raise money for this worthy cause. We look forward to surpassing our previous fundraising goals,” says Joanne Ramirez, Director of Community Affairs.
