Solidaridad Inspiracion Amistad Scholarship

Crystal Cuevas is an 18 year old Ecuadorian/Puerto Rican from Bronx, New York and attends Michigan State University (MSU). While still in high school Crystal Cuevas received the National Hispanic Scholarship for scoring a 1300 on her PSAT. She was also recognized by the Humane Education Committee for her science Intel project and paper based on two years of lab work in a college setting. Crystal won the fifth place prize for Brooklyn Borough Champion in a discuss competition for track and field. During her first semester at MSU she was on the Dean’s List with a 3.5 GPA. Crystal just started her sophomore year as a Physiology major. She has received numerous awards and recognitions for her academics and volunteer work within the MSU community. She is also highly involved with the MSU colony as a Rudi-SIA.
