Tiara Simmons, Hermana Ndigayenza, joined Hermandad de Sigma Iota Alpha, Inc. in the fall of 2003 at the Alpha Alpha chapter - College of New Rochelle where she graduated in 2005 with a Bachelor's in Psychology and Spanish.  In 2007 she received her M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction.  She is currently in school for a second Bachelor's in Forensic Psychology.  She is now a private tutor for students in the NY Metro Area, Westchester and Putnam Counties in NY.<br><br>

Before serving on NEB, she was very active in her region where she ultimately helped establish the Gamma Gamma Graduate Alumnae Chapter (NY/NJ region).  She is a firm believer in community service and continues to give back to her community through SIA, her church and on her own.  She believes it is always important to help give others the opportunities she has.
